“A Continual Feast”
66 Course Meal

"He that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast." Proverbs 15:15

Those who partake of, participate with, and experience relationship with Jesus Christ enjoy the bountiful and unending benefits and blessings of the KING's kingdom (Revelation 21-22). Is your heart merry today? If not - feed it with God's holy truth, turning fully to Him afresh in unreserved surrender. Then, you will have "a continual feast." He will fill you, and bless you by His grace to love and serve Him in the blessed fear of the LORD.

Abiding in fellowship with Jesus means that you can ask what you will and it will be done. Jesus promised that “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7) That is part of the “continual feast” the LORD has reserved for those who know and seek His face continually. Blessed be Jesus!

There are 66 glorious books in God's Word to feast upon. Read, study, chew on, and digest these words of life. His Holy Spirit is the Teacher of all who know Him. "Blessed is he that readeth." (Revelation 1:3)

What happened to the LORD's servant Jeremiah when he chose to find and eat the words of the LORD? .....

"Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts." Jeremiah 15:16

"A continual feast" happens when we continually feed our hearts and lives with the precious Precepts of the LORD, counting them more important than our life-sustaining physical food.

"Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food." Job 23:12

To be bless you must read and do His Word. That's when the "continual feast" begins.

"The Good of the Land" .....

Tuck your feet under the table of the LORD beloved. Seek Him! There is nowhere else to turn except toward death.

God really does want to bless you - BUT that will only happen as you seek and serve Him - on HIS terms - His way and not your own (Proverbs 3:5-7).

"Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually." 1 Chronicles 16:11

God does want you to "eat the good of the land" but how does that happen?

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." Isaiah 1:18-20

When you “Come” to the LORD, you must be “willing and obedient” to confess your sins and when you do He will cleanse them completely and you will then begin to “eat the good of the land.” Yet, if you “refuse and rebel,” attempting to do things your own way – on your own terms – you will be “devoured by the sword” of His perfect judgment.

Have you ever scheduled, planned, and invited others to come over and eat with you only to have very few or no one show up? How did that make you feel? Not good, right?

I wonder just how the LORD feels when those He saves refuse to come and partake of the blessings He died to procure and lives to provide for them?

Spiritual food and feeding is essential to sustaining a life with God. Eat up and you will be blessed. Otherwise, you will famish to spiritual death (Matthew 25:1-13).

"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious." 1 Peter 2:2-3 (KJV)
